Investment Services

Whether you are a do-it-yourself investor, want a second opinion on recommendations made elsewhere or require professional oversight of your investments, Worley Financial Group, Inc., offers a menu of services to support the service level you prefer. Our investment services fall into one of four categories:

Investment advice on an hourly-fee basis

Investment account assistance on an hourly-fee basis

Portfolio management services based upon a percentage of assets fee
 arrangement

Assuming responsibility of servicing your existing commission-based
 investments

These services are provided as follows:

Investment advice on an hourly-fee basis

Within the context of a general financial planning engagement, your planner will analyze and advise regarding your investments. This includes your bank accounts, personal investments and retirement plans. Your planner will address the suitability of the current portfolio’s diversification, evaluate individual holdings, and if appropriate, make specific recommendations for change to meet your investment goals. If you have received a significant sum to invest (inheritance, company-sponsored retirement plan rollover, etc.) or need direction on current investments, your planner will develop a detailed investment plan for it.

Outside of comprehensive financial planning engagements, you can also engage Worley Financial Group, Inc., to review your investments or an investment proposal in a limited engagement.

We use independent, third party sources to research, develop and support our recommendations. The emphasis is upon the appropriateness of the type of investment or the portfolio diversification for your specific situation. Cost-efficient investing is also a goal.

Investment account assistance on an hourly-fee basis

When you receive our investment recommendations we can also provide administrative support in implementing them where you are electing to direct your own accounts. In your behalf, trained staff completes the necessary forms to ensure the investment account is established correctly and in a time-efficient manner. We can also assist in resolving account problems with investment institutions because of our extensive experience in dealing with “back office” problem-solving. Because our firm would be not the advisor on the account, we bill an hourly fee to provide any service regarding the account.

Portfolio management services based upon a percentage of assets fee
 arrangement

Many people don’t have the time or interest to administer and manage their investments, but know ongoing oversight is important. Worley Financial Group, Inc., will professionally manage your portfolio on a fee-basis. Our staff would establish your account at Charles Schwab & Co. Institutional or Pershing and arrange a non-taxable transfer of your existing investments to the account. We then develop a written investment policy customized for your situation. The investment policy is used to facilitate consistency for the ongoing management of your portfolio. Following specific professional disciplines, we review your investments annually and make recommended changes as needed to meet your objectives. You approve all portfolio changes prior to implementation.

If your investments provide current income and regular withdrawals have been established, we monitor cash balances to facilitate those distributions. For those required to take distributions from an IRA or tax-qualified account, our staff verifies annually that you are meeting this legal obligation. When you have any questions regarding your accounts, you contact our staff, not an 800-number. Each year your supervised portfolio will be comprehensively reviewed and a detailed written report is provided. If you prefer, you can meet with us to review this report in person or by phone conference.

Our account minimum for this service is $250,000. The aggregate of all advised family accounts (IRAs, trust accounts, brokerage accounts, etc.) can be used to satisfy this requirement. However, if you do not meet this threshold, you can still retain our advisory services by paying our minimum Account Implementation Fee and ongoing Service Fee. For more information contact Bonnie Struck, CMFC®, Investment Services Manager at 317-872-5090.

Assume responsibility for servicing your existing commission-based
        investments

Your existing investments may be appropriate for you, but you may not be receiving acceptable service on those accounts. If you paid commissions to purchase those investments or face undesirable tax consequences to liquidate them, you may be interested in retaining someone to provide personal and ongoing service without making any changes in the portfolio. We can assume that responsibility without incurring you any material cost. An associate of Worley Financial Group, Inc., who is a registered representative of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., a FINRA broker-dealer, will become your new servicing broker. Ongoing 12b-1 fees already paid by the mutual fund companies and commissions on new deposits will provide the compensation for providing this service. The account minimum for this service is $250,000. A detailed portfolio analysis with specific recommendations for reallocation and change will be prepared on a fee basis.

If you select our firm as your investment advisor of record, we will recommend the best investment choices given your current portfolio, timeframe, and risk tolerance.
